Sie behauptet, alles was es von ihr zu wissen gebe, sei in den Bars zu finden. Die sind dicht geschrieben und deutlich auf den Beat gebracht. Selah hat einen kraftvollen Flow, der sich nach hinten in den Beat stemmt, von dort den Druck mitnimmt und dann umso deutlicher den Punkt auf die Vier haut.

 

Musikalisch verwandt und verschwestert mit Sa-Roc haben die beiden mit, What Am I Doing Here, (off Architect) und Triangle Offensive (off Nebuchadnezzar) zwei starke Features zusammengetan. Verbinden scheint sie neben ihrem Stil ein starkes Vertrauen in die eigenen Einschätzungen und Sichtweisen, die mit einem gewissen Sendungsbewusstsein nach draußen gegeben werden.

 

Nachdruck. das ist das Wort, das ich gesucht habe… Nachdruck beschreibt den Stil von Narubi Selah ziemlich genau. Wobei ‚verschmitzt‘ noch dazumuss, und ‚very beautiful‘, really.

Spit In Da Wip is a crazy contest created and run by crazy people. Basically a rapper chooses a beat from a list by it’s name – not by listening – and has to lay bars on it over five minutes. after that, viewers can rate their performance.
